Product Overview
Marco Bacigalupi, born in 1952 in Genoa, Italy, is a self-taught pipe maker who began crafting pipes full-time in 2012 after a career in design. His pipes are known for:
• Material: Made from first-rate Tuscan briar, prized for its grain and durability.
• Craftsmanship: Handmade in his workshop in Gavi, Piedmont, Italy, with mouthpieces crafted from high-quality German ebonite.
• Design: Combines classic and non-classic shapes, with innovations like a central bore at the bottom of the bowl for complete tobacco combustion and a double air chamber for cooler smoke.
• Production: Limited to 100–150 pipes annually, each numbered progressively by year.
This pipe was the 77th produced in 2015
All pipes are cleaned and inspected to the best of my ability. Any possible defects will be shown in the pictures as clearly as possible. Additional measurements available upon request.
