L’Anatra dalle Uova d’Oro is a renowned brand of handcrafted tobacco pipes originating from Pesaro, Italy, founded in 1998 by Massimo Palazzi and joined by Andrea Pascucci in 2000. The name, translating to “The Duck that Lays Golden Eggs,” is inspired by the famous Aesop fable, reflecting the brand’s aim to create valuable, high-quality pipes. These pipes are celebrated for their neoclassical style, blending traditional shapes with artistic, elegant lines, and are highly sought after by avid pipe smokers.
This 1 egg L’Antra has beautiful grain and a horn shank accent. The shank accent appears to have been chipped and filled in.
All pipes are cleaned and inspected to the best of my ability. Any possible defects will be shown in the pictures as clearly as possible. Additional measurements available upon request.
