Bjarne Handmade – Danish Estate Tobacco Pipe with Original Box and Pouch
Handsome Bjarne workshop pipe with a distinctive square-panel bowl, rich flame grain, and a dark contrast stain. Slightly bent black stem with the Bjarne “b” logo. Stamped BJARNE / HANDMADE / IN DENMARK. Comes with the original navy box (“bjarne pipes — the exclusive ones — handmade in denmark”) and matching velvet drawstring pouch.
Bjarne Nielsen (d. 2008) ran one of Denmark’s best-known workshops, employing makers such as Johs, Tonni Nielsen, Ole Bandholm, and Ph. Vigen. Pipes stamped simply BJARNE HANDMADE IN DENMARK are the workshop’s standard handmade line — individually shaped Danish briar, not a factory shape chart. This panel bowl is a classic Bjarne form: faceted rim, plump body, and strong grain.

Condition: Very good lightly smoked (possibly unsmoked) estate. Chamber is clean with only light use. Rim and finish are in strong shape. Stem fits well and retains the “b” stamp. Original box shows shelf wear; pouch is intact. Stand not included.
