Pristine unsmoked example from Scottish artisan Jack Ryan. Classic straight billiard / pot shape with excellent birdseye and flame grain under a rich dark reddish-brown smooth finish. Hand-cut black vulcanite stem. Stamped “JACK RYAN 24” on the left side of the shank. Comes with the original black leatherette pouch stamped “Jack Ryan.”
Jack Ryan is a Scottish pipe maker based near Edinburgh who began crafting pipes in 2021. His work is known for clean classic English and Danish-inspired shapes, solid engineering, and careful attention to grain. Early numbered pipes like this #24 are increasingly sought after as his production has become more limited in recent years.
